BUSINESS OF EMOTIONS

Everyday every second I see emotions selling, either it be some daily soap ,or news channel or a roadside hoarding.Everyone in the market understands so well that it is extremely easy to market emotions than marketing products, I hardly see advertisements which show usability and features of the products rather than capitalizing on the emotional appeals.despite being the most intelligent animal on earth ,we are still so susceptible for emotional deception.T.V commercials have influenced our mind and psychology in such a way we are captivated in clutched in just 20 seconds and thats their win.

This is not the end i happen to visit one of my relatives in hospital who underwent a surgery and when the surgeon came out of O.T his words were ; despite the surgery being tricky and time consuming it went on well ,the moment he said this he laid the foundation for justification of his exorbiant fees and he did it so smoothly.

Though emotions make ultimate decisions, they can be judged effectively by our analytical skills, thinking capablities and decision making.

BIG IS BEAUTIFUL ?????

Being born and bought up in a small town ,Ranchi i have always been fascinated by the word BIG. Big building, big malls, big size vehicles, big apartments , big school, big college and many more bigs has always attracted  my thoughts,In my childhood I use to think that if my father would have been a big man ,we would have been living in a large bungalow and traveling in a big car  and shopping in big malls traveling across all the big cities of the country. Now I laugh at these childhood thoughts of mine but still still cant deny the charisma of BIG.ya its true that Big word spell bounds, If it would not have been then think why there is craze of buying big plasma T.V, big refrigerators with not only dual doors but four doors, big cars (one can see toyota innova inspite of very less advertising is the one of the top selling muv just beacuse if its big size).

Even our big business hunks and gyan gurus always emphasizes on thinking big ,creating big and doing big after all everyone knows only big gets noticed. there is a race all around to create  Big ,Bigger and biggest. Companies are spending crores ,recently they opend a largest mall in bangalore in banerghatta which is incomparable to any of the other mall here . When i read it in  newspaper i only thought its just the charisma of Big.To become Big and great has created a blind race which is consuming so much of valuable resource .

Now when we are getting limited of resources we have to stop and think , think of getting out of this Big syndrome or else i am completely clueless where our next generation will land into ?

WHY CONFUSION IS SO IMPORTANT

Today i had a long discussion with Jai on confusion, Jai has always supported confusion in a different manner. He logically says confusion is always good, its good for new thoughts and new possibilities.whenever u are at the verge of taking a decision its creates a  barren land where u can crop up whatever you want, that barren land is totally yours where anything could be sowed and anything could be reaped .confusion gives you a space for trial and testing of all alternatives. Confusion stokes the creativity. If one is in confused state of mind that means he is fueling or feeding his creativity bug, scope of innovation is more in this state of mind.
He gave me the example of many scientist ,and one impressive one was that of Albert Einstein, it is said that ,that man was always confused but no one in this universe can deny his contributions . So confusion is important or not he left it to me . Even i am confused whether confusion is good or bad.Could my blog readers extend a helping hand by giving their point of view?

A SHIP IN HARBOUR IS SAFE -BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT SHIPS ARE FOR

Being safe and playing safe is something which everyone of us wants but is this really good for us. Everyone of us including me  always try to be diplomatic in order to be safe or on a safer side , but then i use to wonder  sometimes that taking risks ,being straight forward is so so difficult for almost everyone of us. recently i started some stock trading , everyday while purchasing i have a peculiar palpable feeling of............ shall i take this stock or not, shall i wait so that it may go down and at the end i resulted taking nothing. Is this happening with me only or it happens with everyone ? I don't know but i know this much that human psychology is averted to risks, i have been a die hard fan of GEETA and Geeta says .........................karmanya wa dhikarastya ma faleshu kadachana........................means we should be only focussed on our karma and rest fruits of the karma we should not worry about. this is too easy to read but absolutely difficult to follow .Believe me i have tried to follow it always but have never been successful, Everytime i do something i first think of the outputs and thinking of outputs makes me effortless.

I have decided i will make my ship sail no matters where it goes and where it reaches , at least i will give my ship the space for what it has been made for . i know my ship also wants to sail ,sail under the endless sky and above the endless ocean.Who knows my ship will reach the shore one day and yes that day will b my day , a day of victory , a day to relish that taking risk has paid me returns.

GREEN MANTRA

Today when i wake up in the morning and went outside for a morning walk i was all stumped to see the greenery and orchards around my N.C.C apartment my daughter was filled with joy seeing the fruits hanging from the the trees around . the dusty air was replaced by cool refreshing breeze, we were at heavenly pleasure.but all of a sudden i realized someone poking me in my ear and saying rashmi wake up its 6'00 o clock we have to go for a walk .ohhhhhhhhhhhh it was , my sweet caring husband, and i was dreaming .

I told him about the whole story he smiled and then told me about GREEN MANTRA.he told me about the green initiative taken by the corporates these days .Imagine an air conditioner which can automatically alter the room temperature according the people in the room. use of eco friendly paints on the walls.the building structure designed in such a way that it uses 95% of the natural light. And this is what corporate call a green environment.

Moving towards GREEN architecture is these days corporate commitment towards conservation. in Bangalore i have seen companies realizing its employees needs for a healthy green environment to be truly productive so there are tech parks which have been ergonomically designed to have an access of natural light and outside view which gives an absolute soothing effect to the employees and also the delight of working in a world class environment.

Utkarsh, a real initiative

Living in bangalore for the past 2 years has taught me so much. Today only i got to know about project utkarsh a real bold and honest initiative by two amateur entrepreneurs who felt the need to take up the cause of reviving karnataka's dying folk art, they recognised two main groups one from bellary and other from shimoga and then utakarsh was born, a project to ensure maximam profit for tribal artisans.yet to be regesterd utkarsh provides much needed platform for the tribal artsans to sell their product without involving any middleman.

So this is Utkarsh an effort for the artisans who deserve the most for their art and gets the least. Being born and brought up in Jharkhand i have grown seeing the beautiful handicraft of the tribals  ,there is so much involved in one single piece every single piece is crafted with so much  passion and endeavor that every piece crafted by them is a masterpiece in itself  with all the skills and entact.
I really wish to see some utkarsh in jharkhand also and wish I could be part of any one of the project like this.
